WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. We believe that there is one God who eternally exists as three distinct Persons — the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are each fully God.
The FATHER
We believe that God the Father is all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, unchanging. Above all, He is holy. He spoke life into the world and sustains His creation with might and grace. In Him we live and move and have our being. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to His people and His promises.
The SON
We believe that Jesus Christ, the Son, became flesh to reveal the Father to humanity and to become the Savior of the world. We believe in His resurrection from the dead and His victory over sin and death. Because of this, we too are made alive in Christ, forgiven of sin and gifted with power to live victoriously in this broken world. We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin.
The HOLY SPIRIT
The Holy Spirit guides believers into all truth. He convicts us of sin and guides us in our everyday lives. He empowers us, sanctifies us, and imparts gifts to us according to His will. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling we are enabled to exercise the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit.
The BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God to all people. It was written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. Because it was inspired by God, the Bible is truth without any mixture of error and is completely relevant to our daily lives. And as written in 2 Timothy 3:16, “is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.”
The CHURCH
We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him and by making him known to the lost world.
HEAVEN AND HELL
We believe that heaven is the habitation of the living God and the eternal home of those who receive God's gift of salvation through Jesus. We believe that hell is a place of darkness, deep sorrow and unquenchable fire, which was not prepared for man but for the devil and his angels; it will become the place of eternal separation from God for all who reject Jesus Christ as Savior.
